I have a NI USB-RS232/4 convert and have installed NI-VISA 4.1 for
linux under my Suse 9.3. When I ran visaconf, serial port on
motherboard could be found. But when I tried to add USB-serial ports as
static resource using visaconf, it always displayed "STATUS of Device:
uncertain". Moreover, there is no static ports in NIvisaic. Anyting
wrong?
If you have used the converter in linux, please give me a guide of how
to install and configure it. It will be very very helpful to me.
