How to use GPIB to control Agilent PNA-L N5230A Network Analyzer in Labview?

you should select the 8.2.1 version.

Mass compile it after download and it wil function.

NI modifies the 8.2.1.driver and then masscompiles it for the recent releases.

You will get the newest version in LV2010

How do I go about Mass compiling it?  and then are there templates for VI's?  I have never used LabVIEW.  I am not sure how to use VISA or what I have to do. Sorry for being so non-descriptive.   The goal is to operate a motor and the Network Analyzer. I have example code for the motors but the goal output would be an excel sheet that gave the angle data from the motor and the gain output from the analyzer with timed movement of the motors.  I also apologize if this isnt the right place for this.

If you never programmed before in LabVIEW try to find help or hire somebody.

What you need is not very difficult but repairing a car is also not difficult for guys that train everyday.

You have the tools but need experience.

In essence is masscompiling not needed but easier, just make sure that you make sure that the vi's are saved after you loaded them. In that case they are compiled on load time and if you don't save them they will be compiled everytime.
