I am having multiple issues with NI MAX, but one in particular is that NI MAX is using limits for Exposure that are incorrect. The camera I am using can use exposure times ranging from 0.1 to 2000 ms, however in NI MAX I can only use values between 0.5 and 250 ms. The limits seem relatively easy to alter in IMAQ camera files, however this camera uses IMAQdx and thus the icd file is very limited (attached as text file). Even if I could alter the limits in the icd file it seems that every time IMAQdxOpenCamera is called, a new icd file is generated and overwrites any changes. I have tried using Camera File Generator to create my own icd, but this does not seem to be made for USB 2 cameras.
Any ideas how to fix this? I can't even find where it gets these seemingly random values of 0.5 and 250...
