How can I change the port number of PXI-8431/4 ?

Hi,

I would like to change the COM port number assignments of the Ports of PXI-8431/4. For example, Port 2 is assigned to COM15, and I would like to change it to COM3.

Hi Philippe,

Thank you for using National Instruments products.
This is Nakasone from National Instruments Japan.

You can easily change the number assigned to COM port in Measurement and Automation Explorer.
(Start> Programs > National Instruments > Measurement and Automation Explorer)
In the "Devices and Interfaces" under Configuration, click "Serial and Parallel."
Click on the COM port you want to reassign the number, and go to "Advanced."
In that section, you can change the number assigned to a particular port.
