I am trying to install the GPIB Analyzer so that I can debug a 488.2 interface. However, after selecting the file path to install to and hitting continue, I get the error:
"Could not open the file named 'C:\Users....\CVIRT31A.EX"
The file is located in the same folder as the rest of the install. What's the deal?

Hi Hwalke,
I am curious where you got the download from?
It seems that file is corrupted, but unfortunately that software is Legacy and is no longer supported or distributed. If you can get the download again I would try that. If a colleague has successfully installed this software you could try getting the installer or that executable from them.

I got it from the NI site. The download link is at the bottom of this page:

I really need a program like this because I am debugging a GPIB to UART converter I made with a PIC

I figured out the problem with the install - you have to rename the folders to Disk1 and Disk2. Ran into another road block though, even with the 488.2 software installed, when starting the program it says it is missing the software used to find the cards and that I am missing GPIBPCM.dll or NI-PNP.INI
Does it even support the GPIB-USB-HS cards? This may have been all for nothing.
