Does an old PCI GPIB /+ card work on a G3 running osx 10.2.8 & labview 7?

Hello,

I have an old 9600 mac with a PCI card running labview 5.1

I would like to remove the PCI card and put it in a g3, running labview 7.0 on os X 10.2.8.

Can anyone tell me if this will work or not?

To use our latest Mac OS X driver, you'll need Mac OS X 10.3.5 or later.  Here's the link to that driver:

Prior to it being released, we had support on Mac OS 9.0.x.  You may be able to use this old driver in "classic mode" if that exists in Mac OS 10.2.8, but by far your best solution is to upgrade to 10.3.5.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the answer.

The answer that I ended up doing is this:

The 9600 is not supported by MAC OS 10.3.x, so I used a g3, upgraded to 10.3.8, and installed the latest NI 488.2 version 2.2 drivers. That worked.

Thanks,

Kristopher
