Does NI VISA support NI PXIe device?

When I call VISA Find Resource, none of the NI PXIe device show up.

Does NI VISA support NI PXIe devices?

Is it because my VISA version (19.0) is too old?

It depends, what PXIe device are you trying to find? and can you share what you've tried so far?

I have:

PXIe-4080

PXIe-4305

PXIe-2593

Nope, none of those.  They may show up as IVI devices, but you need the actual drivers for the devices installed.  Or you can just use the device driver directly.

PXIe-4305 - NI DAQmx

PXIe-2593 - NI Switch

In MAX => Software => NI VISA => PXI/PCI Interfaces, select Show all devices accessible to VISA instead of Show only devices registered with VISA.  Then PXIe-4305 and PXIe-2593 show up in the return list of VISA Find Resource.  But PXIe-4080 still not found.

Give up on VISA.  Switch to System Configuration.  All 3 cards show up in the return of Find Hardware.vi
