DAQ (USB 6356) recognized but not usable in NI MAX

I have an NI USB 6356 DAQ that I have been using in experiments for years. Recently my NI software stopped recognizing it when I plugged it in. Repairing NI-DAQmx seemed to help; the DAQ now shows up under "Devices and Interfaces" in MAX, but with a lot of options missing (screenshot included). The toolbar is empty and right clicking on the device does nothing. I still can't access the DAQ in LabVIEW. 

Any ideas what the issue is, or what my next step should be?
