Comunication using GPIB get very slowly after change hardware configuration. Some one have any Idea about this?

I use GPIB comunication in one aplication for automatic measurement and it is very slowly after changing from a Pentium 2 with  AT-GPIB / TNT to a Pentium III PCI-GPIB? Some one have any idea about this problem?

We need some more information.
Normally this only would speed up the system.

Are both cards NI cards?
Is the rest of the software the same?
Did you try to look at the card in MAX?
What is your operating system?
What other changes were made to the system
How much memory is free?
