I am working on RS-485 communication test with PXIe-8431/8. I connected PXIe-8431/8 to a 2 wire device with Adapter cable 197546-01 and set the mode to 2-Wire Auto in my VI based on NI Modbus lib 1.2.1.42 from VI Package Manager. It seems I can always send the signal to my slave device for configuration, but cannot receive wanted signal from the slave. The single-ended wave form is in the attached. I think the patterns in the rear are the signals from slave device, but their level is a little bit low, which may be the cause.
I also tried to get the waveform with the common USB-RS485 converter, it works well. So, I think there may be some special settings needed?
Could you please help with it?
