488.2与VISA二者是什么关系？

看到NI官网上提到：

1、要是想对GPIB仪器进行仪器控制，必须要安装VISA、488.2两个驱动

2、看到有帖子说488.2是GPIB的驱动，属于比VISA更底层的驱动层

但是我还是不太清楚他们两个直接的关系，能否给出一个结构图示意一下？附件是一个介绍488.2驱动功能的文件中的图片，可以看到488.2驱动位于操作系统下方，GPIB硬件接口上方，若在这幅图中加入NI-VISA，应该加在何处呢？

My question is "What's the relationship between 488.2 driver and VISA driver"?

The attachment file is a picture about 488.2 driver, and it's under the operating system and above the GPIB Hardware interface. I wonder if I want to add NI-VISA into the picture, where should it be placed?

I'd appreciate it if someone would like to answer this question.

Thank you for your answer, and it helps a lot.

What's more, I guess I should give a discription about the question in more detail. VISA driver can help communicate with GPIB instruments, while 488.2 can also help communicate with GPIB instruments. But one of NI web page says, if you want to communicate with GPIB instruments, you have to download MI-488.2 driver but not only VISA driver, or the hardware can't be detected by Windows.(http://www.ni.com/getting-started/install-software/zhs/instrument-control ). And I guess NI-488.2 driver is used to drive the GPIB-USB controller.(https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q000000x2YDCAY&l=en-US )
