Programmatic read of devicenet IO input and ouput data length of assembly object

In the Open DeviceNet IO, VI, it requires the input and output data length in order for the VI to actually function without errors. I understand that this information is available from the manufacturer data sheets. But is there a way to query this information programmatically?
