Profibus Communication

Hello,

I have recieved equipment that is needed for communication between two PC's via Profibus using Labview 8.0 from COMSOFT.
I would like to ask a small help. I have installed DF PROFI II PCI Win/2000/XP/DP/DP1 driver,

OPC server PROFIBUS DP/DP1 WinNT/2000/XP labVIEW VISA Driver on one system and

 labVIEW VISA Driver on another system.

i have added the DF PROFI II PCI boards to the PC's and connected them with PROFIBUS cabel.

Now i would to ask you wheather my installation on PC's are correct or not and how to configure one PC as master and another as slave.
Please do reply me. I will be grateful to your help and suggestions.

I have never worked with Profibus before but I did some searches about the product you are using and on the manufacturers website I found the following:

According to this page it exists a ‘Getting Started Manual' that might answer your questions, since the driver itself supports both slave and master mode.
