I am working on a distributed control system and I am looking at using EtherCAT for determinism. I have used a cRIO Master with a NI-9144 slave in the past. In this case I would have multiple NI-9144 slaves and cRIO or PXI master. However, I would like to set them up in a star topology using a third party EtherCAT junction as described here:

I am looking at the Beckhoff ek1122 modular EtherCAT junctions. Has anyone tested these out to put multiple NI-9144s in a star topology?
