Datasocket connection

Hi! I need help about opc server in Labview 8.

My question is: why when I clic with the right button on a controllers (on a front panel of Labview 😎 don't appear under "data operations" the voice "Datasocket connection"?

I think to have configured correctly opc server of my plc and opc server connection parameters. How can I see and modify my i/o of my plc using Labview 8?

since LV8 you will find DS under right click - properties - data binding.
NI changes menus with almost every release.
