Hi there,

I´m using a Siemens Profibus DP PC card to communicate with one slave on the Profibus.
Thi VI is working very well, but when I open another Sub-VI or another application on PC, I get this DataSocket error:
-2147417843

I really can´t find any problem or error, maybe someone can help me...!

Hi Thomas,

I found out, when the VI (the one which handels the OPC) is running and I click on the "Close Window cross (on the top right)" the error appears immediately. Maybe this helps.

I'm needing information about comunication Siemens CP5611 Profibus PCI card and LabVIEW. The purpose is acquire data from  a CNC Simenens 810D via Profibus developing a data acquisition system in LabVIEW to do the communication to CP5611.
