Sampling at 100MSPS

Hi,

Is it possible to sample at 100MSPS with the 5641R?

Because the maximum speed of the input is 100M but it seems that the minimum decimation is 4, isn't it?

So can I realize I/Q acquisition at speed higher than 25M with this card?

Thank you

Hi SimonD,

I had the same problem a few mounths ago, I bet you're in quadrature mode, you'll need interpolating DAQ mode, but driver is not yet developped. (i'm talking about the ADC (Analogic device)mode)

So 25M is the greater IQ rate you can get. (as far as I'm aware)

Hi Rodéric,

Thank you

But I don't understand why they write 100M/200M for the I/O in the spec if it's not possible to use a this speed Smiley Sad

Sampling rate is the ADC/DAC rate, but you can't get such perfomances without accessing the interpolating DAQ mode. (for your custom data)

BUT: if you just need a sinusoidal signal you can have the desired rate but not for modulation.
