Hobbyist 2024 Q3 ( and Q1 Patch 1 ) installs and works flawlessly. Older versions does not.

I cannot make the Target Configuration work with LINX as found in VIPM together with any LabVIEW version before 2020. Nor with Hobbyist 2020 and newer. Cannot complete uploading a firmware image. Useless. Worked in the past. So something changed. Probably the server access.

Using one of the pre-configured Raspberry Pi and LabVIEW images ( beta concept ) for 2021 or 2022 works flawlessly. And Target Configuration then also works so that you can change from 2021 to 2022 or vice versa. TC may also work with 2020 or 2023 or later, but I haven't tried that. See :

The only downside to this is that the Raspberry Pi OS chosen is the GUI-less 'Lite' version.
