Basic DC Motor control LINX

Hi, 

I  would like to know if i can use the digital pin from an ardiuno uno to control a small dc motor either it is on or off. With a simple digital read and write pieces of code.

How do you expect a digital to supply voltage to a DC motor for it to run?  Usually digital IO do not have large current capabilities even for a small motor.  I would say you would be better off controlling a relay with your digital IO and have the relay supply the voltage to the motor.  Again here you have to watch the current requirement of the relay to be activated.
