There is no real difference in terms of compiling a shared library. That’s very much independent of the LabVIEW version. You don’t use LabVIEW for that but a properly installed gcc development environment!

C/C++ Development Tools for NI Linux Real-Time Eclipse Edition highest available version is 2017, there is no 2020 version!
I used ARM-based targets, 2017 software stack settings from the article. Then I successfully compile Linx and SQLite from sources and they work under LINX distro included in LabView 2020 Community edition. Tested on Raspberry Pi 2B and 4B.
