how to calibrate the compensite capacity of the probe? since there no standard square wave from card?

I got a new probe, I want to adjust the capacity of the probe to pair the card and probe. how to calibrate the compensite capacity of the probe? since there no standard square wave from card?

Any square wave will do 🙂

If it's in a (80%) range of your card, you can even correct the amplitude ....

What card do you have? Even if no dedicated BNC output is provided, some cards offer a PFI-output to output a square wave.

I use pci-5112 which is a little older.I see physical oscilloscope has 1k hz standard square wave for probe compensation, so I want to know how to do this step in pci-5112. thanks. can pci-5112 output square wave with PFI? thax!!
