Greetings,
I'm working on a carrier PCB for the SOM module and NI recommends the Molex 45970-4130 but lists the alternative as 45970-4185. I called Molex to get the drawings for the 45970-4130 and they show it as a custom part and can't release it without a letter from NI. There is information available on their website for the 45970-4185. Does anyone know the differences between the -4130 and -4185 parts? Has anyone been able to get drawings for the -4130 part?
Thanks.

Brent,
The -4130 and -4185 are the exact same part, and datasheets for the -4185 apply exactly to the -4130. We set up the -4130 with Molex as a special part number stocked by TTI that allows SOM customers to buy small quantities up to entire reels for a pre-negotiated price to help them have a cost effective and fast method for prototyping and deploying at any quantity. If you require further official documentation, please let us know and we can work with Molex to have them create it. Thanks for your interest in SOM!
Best,
Bryan
