There were quite a few messages about the Gang of Four (GoF) Design Patterns on another thread; so I thought it would be best to separate them.
With the introduction of interfaces in LabVIEW 2020, there's now little reason why LabVIEW developers shouldn't be utilizing proven design patterns commonly used in other languages (some of the patterns will need to be adapted for dataflow).
There are around 20ish GoF patterns so a presentation on all of them would be a bit much. However, a presentation on the "Top 5" or "Top 10" and why we should use them would be neat.
This is a presentation myself and Sam Taggart would be happy to do, but I don't want to detur anyone else from submitting their presentation ideas on the topic.
