I don't know, I don't treat vision in my job; I simply tried to be collaborative and avoid dispersion of possible answers in mutliple forums.
Have you tried looking at all posts treating Ixon cameras? Maybe you can find there some useful info. Specifically, this post from Han Yen gives a vi that may give you a functional framework to start with. It looks for libraries I don't have on my machine but you may alread have them at hand.
