PID tuning

Any capability or feature for PID tuning in FlexLogger?   It looks like it can generate an output, I am not sure if it has any capability for PID control based on step/input signal from one of the channels?

Hi,

For PID tunning you'll to perform your calculations at a specific rate. So the loop time around the PID calculations should be garanteed, or at least repeatble in time.

Therefore we traditionnally use PID in RT systems.

And FlexLogger is not running on RT but only on Windows. So unless your system is quite slow, I wouldn't use FlexLogger for PID tunning.

But in any case if you still want to try, you can still implement it using the SDK I guess.
