maximum input without damage

Hi,

I am trying to find the maximum input voltage that the cFP-AI-118 and cFP-TC-12 modules can withstand in both powered and unpowered states. The spec gives values for maximum voltage from each pin to common but its not clear to me if this same figure can be applied between the input pins, especially if the unit is powered down.

Hello Tony,

The specification on the hazardous voltage limit is mentioned. This should be kept in mind when you power up the device (250 Vrms). When device is powered down it just bleeds the voltage back what was written to it earlier. What specifications are mentioned in the manuals are the most you will require to keep the voltage from not damaging.
