how can I change ip address in field point????

Hi.... I'm using Field Point modules. I have 20 Field point built as Fp1601+ DO (16 output)+2AO (8 output)+ RTD122(8 input). I have periodically to call a different field point  ( with different ip address) and it could be very usefull if I can build  field point I/O address changing  Ip address and channel . is it possible???  furthermore, can I configure field point   with an IP address even if  it isn't connected in ethernet???

As outlined in this knowledge base, you have the option of duplicating a FP bank. This would only copy over the bank configuration in terms of FP modules, but it would not copy over channels config etc.

Comm Resource Duplicate

There might be some unsupported/unofficial way to copy the whole configuration to replicate multiple identical systems.

I suggest you contact NI by phone to find out more about your needs.
