I have an engine that runs at a constant 900 rpm. I would like to use LABview and fieldpoint to acquire a cylinder pressure vs. crank angle. I have a FP-2000 and a FP-AI 110. Can this hardware handle that type of signal. To record the data I was thinking of clocking it off of an optical encoder preferably set to ever 0.5 CAD, however I would settle for 1 CAD.
You have a few options here. You can collect the pressure with the
AI-110 if you have a pressure sensor that outputs voltages that the
AI-110 takes. As far as counting the ticks form the crank angle sensor,
you'll probably need a Quad. Encoder module or a counter module to do
that counting.
Hope this helps,
