data lost due to cfp hang

morning guys,

Im using cFP 2110 . we are using to control a chiller system to maintain temperature in a building. we are gathering the data received by the cFP in a host PC using network shared variable to be logged in SQL.

the problem that im facing now is that when my cFP hang it will be rebooted using watchdog. once rebooted only certain value can be logged  in SQL. sum of the network shared variable is not communicating again with the host PC.

looking for a solution .tahnks guys

regards,

shamaran

Hi shamaran.  If I am understanding your question, you want to keep unlogged data even

when the cFP controller is rebooted, then log the data once the system restarts.

What we do is in the watchdog shutdown routine we write out to the flash

any important data.  Then when the system reboots, we check for the presence of the

file.  If it exists, we read the file, re-populate the important data, then erase the file.  Seems

to work pretty well.
