code 32801 Invalid item using fp create tag vi

Is there some trick to this. When I run my code from labview all works fine. When I target a fp 2010 and modules I get the code 32801 An Invalid Item was specified.

Hi,

Make sure that you are downloading the FieldPoint IAK file to your FieldPoint RT Module. Here's the link to the associated knowledgebase.

If this is not the case, let me know if you are using FP VIs to read or write data to another FieldPoint controller in the embedded code.

I had found this link earlier and it led me to look at the fpbank.ini on the fp 2010. I found that the info in this file was not always reflective of the changes I made in fp-explorer. I deleted the file and then saved the changes from fp-explorer and a new fpbank.ini was created which did reflect my changes. That seems to let me run ok. However it is a bit cumbersome to have to delete this file first.
