Read a digital input with the FP-Read.vi

A possible reason for this issue could be a corrupt software installation on the flash memory of the controller. Please format the flash drive and reinstall the software on the controller (not on the PC!).

How can I format the flash memory of the controller?

I´ve already deinstalled the software.

There was following software installed:

FieldPoint VI-Manager 3.0.0

FieldPoint Drivers 5.0.2

LabView RealTime 7.1

DataSocket for LabView RealTime 4.2

NI-IrDA RealTime 1.0.1

NI-Serial RealTime 2.5.3

NI-VISA 3.1

NI-Watchdog 2.1.0

Is this enough or is there other software, which has to be installed?

I´ve now formated the flash, deinstalled and reinstalled all the software.

The Test-VI for the reset doesn´t function with windows and the RealTime-Target.

Does that mean that now you can't access the inputs of the FP-DIO-550 neither under Windows nor und LV RT?

Exactly!!

But at the beginning of the topic I wrote that it didn´t work every time under windows. One time it worked and the other not. Now it doesn´t work under windows nor under RT.

The problem is now solved.

I don´t know exactly what had been wrong, but I created a new iak-file in MAX and downloaded it on the FP-2000. I used the same channel-configurations and channel-names as before.

Maybe there was something wrong with my iak-file I used before.
