New cFP-SG-140 Power LED Flashing

Hi ab_man,

Thanks for the information.  I will let you know what I find when I receive the module.

Just to verify, you RMA'd the module this morning, correct?

Ching,

I wanted to let you know that I left power off of the chassis last night and when I powered it up this morning with the sg-140 in place (Slot 3) that the power light stabilized and the ready light came on. If I hot swap the unit the power light starts and keeps flashing. Once I discovered this I cycled power off for 3 minutes and powered up again. Power light still flashed. I then cycled power off for 30 minutes it works. I don't know what to do at this point . I already have an RMA on it and the mailroom is preparing to ship it back

Hi ab_man,

I was able to reproduce the issue.  RMA upgraded the module to the latest revision, and that seems to have fixed the problem.  I tested for a while after the upgrade, and was unable to reproduce the blinking Power LED.  The new module you received should be the latest revision, therefore should not have that issue.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Was that an upgrade I could have performed?
