Minimum labview requirement for use with compact Fieldpiont

I'm currently looking to build a DAC system using Compact Fieldpiont. However from the manuals and info it is not clear weather i need to buy the additional labview realtime module, or if the Labview basic would be able to develop the vi's to download to the fieldpiont device.

What is the minimum software (in terms or Labview) i need to develop a standalone fieldpiont based DAC system.

You will need to buy the Real-Time module as this is used to target your cFP unit and allow you to download your code. You can develop your program in a normal LV environment and use the RT module to download to the cFP.
