I just retrieved an FP2000 that has been sitting unused for several years. I have LabVIEW 8.6 and 2009 installed on my host, but couldn't configure the FP2000 unit. It turns out that these only have 16 MB RAM and the new versions of LVRT require more than that. The recommendation is to run version 7.1 of LabVIEW RT, but I don't have that. The "Upgrade Advisor" said that my license (an academic site license) doesn't qualify me for this "upgrade" to a much older version.
Can I run the old version of LVRT under LabVIEW 2009? If so, how do I get it and install it? Do I need to do anything to keep it from conflicting with the newer versions?
