How to make cFP-21xx as modbus slave ( similar to cFP18xx with firmware >6.03)

I'm presently using cFP-1804  as modbus slave, and program I'm using is working fine.
When company decided to dublicate the equipment, they got cFP-2120 instead...
My question is if it is possible to use cFP2120 as modbus slave similar to cFP18xx series?

Thank you in advance for your kind attention to this matter.

Have a great day.

Hi,

Unfortunately, you cannot use the 2120 as a modbus slave.  The only Modbus commands that the 2120 can accept are from the Modbus I/O server.  If you would like to use the 2120 as a Modbus slave, you would need to take in those Modbus commands, translate them somehow and then write that to the Modbus I/O server.

I hope this helps,

Regards,
