How does a FieldPoint switch volts into mA?

Hermonite,

You could use a FieldPoint Input module to measure a voltage and an output module to output a current. For example you could use the the [c]FP-AI-100/102/110/112 or [c]FP-AIO-600 modules to measure voltages and either the FP-AO-200 or cFP-AIO-600 to output currents.

If you are interested in specifically how the FieldPoint unit converts voltage to current, it is as easy as V=I*R.  All the unit has to do is output a voltage across a precision resistor to get current.
