How convert FP-TC-120 data to normal temperature?

When I aquire data from FP-TC-120, I found the data is not what I want. It is very big number like 8091. I think it is not convert to normal temperature.
I set the TC type in Max, but I don't know how set the type in LabVIEW. I use seral configuration to achive my goal but it seems difficult to me.
The express VI looks like simple but it can not set the TC type, band rate, address and so on.
So somebody can tell me how to do that in LabVIEW?
Thank a lot

Hi Qia,

Are you able to read the correct temperature in MAX?  If yes, then you should be getting the same value in LabVIEW too; if you are not, then there's an issue on the LabVIEW side, or more likely, your VI.

Any particular reason for using the Optomux commands directly?  Have you tried the regular FP Read VI?

Yes,I can read the correct temp.in Max.

I don't wanna use FP Read VI,because it can not configure the FP setting in LabVIEW.

As you probably know, once you set the setting in MAX, you can use the IAK with LabVIEW.  What is it that Fp-Optomux give you extra?  I guess you can change the settings "on the fly..."
