I am modifying an installation that has been functioning for over 6 years but we have never used the analog module. Using the measurement and automation explorer, all channels are configured for 0 to 18 volts and all channels show 18 volts and status is out of range. I have not wired anything to the module yet so I am lost as to how the module thinks is has 18 volts on each point. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Probably normal behaviour due to the high input impedance of the front end building up a charge. Connect Vin to COM on any given channel and it should drop to 0 volts.
