I am trying to install a CFP 1804 at a customer site.  I cannot get the computer to talk to the fieldpoint device.  What am i doing wrong?

How are you connecting the 1804 to the computer? Are you trying to use DHCP, or static IP? It's also possible that the windows firewall or antivirus program is blocking the traffic that allows MAX to see the fieldpoint device. Anymore information you could give would be helpful.

If connecting directly to the PC via Enet, you need to use a crossover cable.
