I have built/compiled an application for one of my compact Field Point
controllers. I targeted the compilation for D:/startup/startup.exe
(with the
😧 drive being the compact flash card)..
After adjusting the realtime options on the controller to find the
startup.exe in this new location, the application works without any
issues.
When I copy startup.exe over to other cFP units (to the same location /
same realtime options - d:/startup/startup.exe) the serial port section
of my compiled application stops working (it works fine on the orginal
cFP unit).
Anyone else been having this problem?
If I compile the above application for the C Drive
(C:/ni-rt/startup/startup.exe) and copy it over to other cFP
Controllers, the serial ports work correctly...
