Problems uploading image files

Hi,

I just had problems composing a message the way I usually do…

Usually I attach an image to the message using the upload button, then I edit the message and place the link to the attached image in the message.

I do this to prevent bloating my personal image library as that seems to make the forum even slower over time. 

While writing this message the "browse files to attach" link opens the file dialog and I could select the file - but after closing the dialog the file doesn't appear in the message attachments. I tried several times, but no success.

To include the image I had to use the "Insert photo" button in the message editor, but I want to prevent using this way as it clutters my profile/image library.

Is there a change in the way the forum handles message attachments? (I'm using the latest FireFox.)

On a related note: today I saw the "Page error" website several times when going into a message thread. Reloading the thread afterwards shows all messages as expected…
