I just noticed the header in the LabVIEW board changed. It is smaller and cleaner. But I really think there should be at least a link to the LabVIEW Wiki under "Community Resources".

What a great suggestion. There was a CLA summit I went to once where an NI employee made a soft promise to have NI.com/LabVIEW have a link to the LabVIEW Wiki. I think we all knew it wasn't likely to happen but a link from the forums seems like a good compromise.

I almost also made the suggestion for LAVAg.org, but that is kind of a competing forum. And the other two categories only had 3 links, so I thought the LabVIEW Wiki was a lot more important to fill in that last spot.

Hello! Thank you for the feedback and the suggestion. I've added the link to LabVIEW Wiki.

I agree when it comes to "real" computers with larger displays.
On a mobile phone it looks quite ugly:

Hi @GerdW
Thank you for your feedback. We are aware of that issue and will be updating the mobile version after the first of the year. The vast majority of our visitors are on desktop so we made the decision to roll out the update and address mobile issues later.
Best,
Mark

Hi Mark,
thanks for feedback!
On a related note: why are there no recent updates in the Community News? The last update on forum software changes was given in April, the latest message from July...
( We are mostly software developers, so we could expect some update notes/logs. :-))

So there is a chance we get a website design with less whitespace? 😀

I really appreciate it! I've been so used to relying on my mobile for the forums that I can't exactly remember when I last even launched a LabVIEW IDE (now that my SRLL has lapsed and am not so sure on how to activate a CE key without some lengthy download) I might just request a new "K-key" on some other board.
It doesn't seam to impact my k/p or s/p stats much to not even have LabVIEW handy. Alhough, I've had to request inlined snippets on occasion.
CONCLUSION: NI Community managers should be actively tracking trends on logon platforms heavily weighted by Forum rank with little regard for vast majorities of all users. And yes, the "vast majority of all users" post new topics where it is nearly essential to do so from a device that has the respective tools installed [VISA, DAQmx, LabVIEW, LabWindows, Vision, TestStand, etc...] Responses only need a browser and USER knowledge.
