Add-ons Idea Exchange

We're going to have further discussion around the idea behind the Add-On idea exchange soon.  There are a number of ideas that could possibly be moved from LabVIEW Idea Exchange to the Add-On section if it is decided to keep that exchange. 

I'll make sure to bring up your points at the meeting.

Hey Everyone -

I wanted to let you know that we've decided to remove the LabVIEW Add-ons Idea Exchange and merge the ideas posted there into the LabVIEW Idea Exchange.  We appreciate the feedback you gave in this thread and also directly to Armando if you had the chance to talk to him.

We believe that you are correct, many users will not know if their idea fits into an add-on for LabVIEW or if it should be part of the core product.  That's a decision best left up to R&D. Because of that, I don't even have plans to add a label for add-ons to the LabVIEW Idea Exchange because it causes the same confusion.

Thank you for your patience and feedback, your passion for the LabVIEW Idea Exchange has been amazing and we are lucky to have you involved in our community!
