NI Monitor does not update.

NI Monitor does not update.  I recently began using Monitor and after activating it with the automatic license utility I set the interface configuration utility to Bus Monitor.  NIFBUS configuration works fine.  When I go to Bus Monitor and set it to capture, the card is correct, but nothing shows up, not even the live list.  I seem to be experiencing similar update issues with both Trend Monitor and Alarm Monitor in that I can get nothing to update in them even after loading and connecting the MIB funcion block and setting the FBs in the devices I want to trend and alarm.

The email directed me to this reply, which said to check the email.  Is there another email I should expect which actually deals with the issue?
