NI-FBUS Software 4.0 installations Error

Folgende Fehlermeldung tritt bei der Installation auf:

"The NI VC2008MSMs x86 installation has failed with the following error.

Auf den Windows-Installationsdienst konnte nicht zugegriffen werden. Dies kann vorkommen, wenn Sie Windows im abgesicherten Modus ausführen oder der Windows-Istaller nicht korrekt installiert ist. Wenden Sie sich an den Support, um Hilfe zu erhalten."

Windows läuft ganz normal und ich kann auch andere Software installieren.

Windows XPpro SP3

CPU i5 2,53GHz

3 GB Ram

Auf meinem alten Rechner läuft es.

Windows XPpro SP3

CPU pentium III 797MHz

384 MB Ram

Habe versuchsweise die letzte 3er Version installiert, und funktioniert, hat nur keinen treiber für USB-8486, den ich brauche.

Which version of NI-FBUS software did you install? 4.0 or 4.0.1? Is Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 installed in your system?

It seems that some Microsoft components in your system are conflict with the ones in NI-FBUS installer.

Please try installing the following components. Here are the download links.

Before installing these components, you may need to uninstall the NI-FBUS software first.

Hi i got same error too.. Check attached jpg. I installed both linked packages to my machine, but not luck anyway. Any other tricks to install my ITK systen corrcectly? I uninstalled all earlier version of nIfb and related before installation.

I removed all referenced keys/values/datas from registry too. So the "table" should be clean now..

Tried but no luck..

I ve installer ver 4.5 (XP pro SP3), installer 3.1is not available to the SP3 system. What happen if i answer "Yes" into error screen and just continue the installation process? It will run installation to end without any other errors (i tried/did it earlier). Is it system working correctly when i just run ITS system to our devices?

Hi,

Thanks for the detail logs.The logs show that VC2008MSM already exists in your system. The error occurs when removing this component. I think the system will be working correctly as long as the installation of other components complete without error. Please have a try. Let me know if there is any problem.
