Local test with pcmcia FBUS/2

I bought a pcmcia FBUS/2, and would like a local test without network FF. Can I do this?

I can think of the following steps to do a very simple test for the PCMCIA-FBUS card without connecting to a FF network.

- Insert PCMCIA-FBUS card into the PC.

- Install NI-FBUS software. Make sure that the driver are correctly installed.

- Enable PCMCIA-FBUS card in Interface Configuration Utility.

- Launch Communications Manager. Communications Manager should start successfully without any other.

This is a simple self test for PCMCIA-FBUS card. To test its communication functionality, connecting to a FF segment with at least one FF device is required.
