USB camera only streams to dashboard when temporarily running code from laptop

When we build code and deploy it to the RoboRIO, the camera does not stream an image to the Dashboard. We are using the default dashboard.

 

However, when I connect a laptop to the RoboRIO and temporarily deploy code by running 'Robot Main' the camera streams images to the Dashboard.

 

Any ideas on what we did wrong?

Check the "Enable Vision" Boolean on the front panel of "Robot Main.vi"

That did not work. Same issue even if I clicked the boolean for enable vision and 'save current value as default' prior to building
