Change Team Number in Software

Hello,

Our team bought an off season kit from FIRST and have recently set up all the software for the 2015 kit. Since this is the off season, our new team didn't have an official FIRST team number to work with the software prompts that asked us for them. We are attending an off season event in a few weeks and the organizers there gave us a temporary number to use. Is there a way that we can change the team number we put in the software to this new one? We finished most of our coding and hope that this wouldn't require a reinstallation. Thanks!

You shouldn't need to reinstall the software.  What you will want to do is make a few changes.  First, you'll want to use the roboRIO Imaging Tool to image the roboRIO with the correct team number.  This will give your roboRIO a new network address to work with.

I'm not near an installation for FRC at the moment.  I believe you can right-click your roboRIO in your LabVIEW project and choose properties.  From there, you should be able to update the IP address to match the new name.
