Activation issue with Vista

I had downloaded on installed the Labview 8.6 30day eval from the NI site.

We received our kit of parts yesterday.  I uninstalled all NI products via

the control panel.

Followed explicit directions to install the First version of Labview 8.5.1.  The

procedure works as I have installed this on 2 XP Pro workstations.

On this Vista laptop, the license manager is happy and the First components

expire in 2010, yet when starting Labview, you get the eval screen with so many

days left.

I have tried re-activating auto over the Internet and it is happy.

Any ideas?

Hi Fred1261,

I would like for you to answer a couple of questions before we get deeper into this issue.

1. Do you see the same number of days left every time you launch LabVIEW? I guess I am trying to see what you mean by 'so many days left'?

2. Can you post screenshots of what happens when you launch LabVIEW?

Thanks!

It shows the typical 'Eval Screen' decrementing the amount of days left on the trial.  I will send screen shot later, but it is the standard eval screen.

No, it has not been resolved.  I just wanted the message removed from the forum/discussion

as it was getting no help from NI.  There is no need to post useless information.

Please just remove.

Thank-you
