This example demonstrates how to continuously acquire voltage measurements from a DAQmx device using hardware timed, single point reads.

This example demonstrates how to continuously acquire voltage measurements from a DAQmx device using hardware timed, single point reads.


Requirements

Software

  1. CVI 2012 or later (older versions may work, UI is saved in 2012)
  2. DAQmx 9.6 or later

Hardware

  1. Any DAQmx  device which supports Hardware Timed Single Point acquisition

 

Steps to Implement or Execute Code

Instructions for Running:

  1. Select the physical channel to correspond to where your signal is input on the DAQ device.
  2. Enter the minimum and maximum voltage range.
    Note: For better resolution try to match the input range to the expected voltage level of the measured signal.
  3. Set the rate of the acquisition. Your computer's performance will determine the maximum sample rate that you can achieve.
